Product Review: R.E.M. Spring Kit and Hair Nix

Let’s just get this out of the way – you get unsightly hairs that grow on your body in weird places – neck, chin, upper lip…you just don’t like to talk about it.  A woman’s quest to find the perfect hair removal devices can run her down a strange road, and the R.E.M. Spring Kit is a stop on the journey to find a perfect hair removal product.

The R.E.M. Spring Kit is designed for women to remove unwanted facial hair and to keep it from growing back.  The R.E.M. spring is just that – a tightly wound coil that you put in a U-shape and roll over unwanted hair.  The pros of the product are that it really does remove hair and it is something you can use any time since it doesn’t require a battery or a salon appointment.  The con is that it feels like a spring ripping hair out of your face.

The Hair Nix gel that comes with the kit is used after the R.E.M. spring to reduce the re-growth of unwatned hair.  The gel is suitable for sensitive skin and is oil, alcohol, and Paraben free.  The product does state that most people see results of slower hair re-growth after 28 days of use.  After using the spring, the gel was a cooling and comforting relief.
